About the Trainer

Brian O'Kennedy is CEO of Clearstream Solutions, a leading independent carbon management and corporate sustainability consultancy which he founded in 2009. Brian has over 20 years’ leadership experience in global supply chain management and procurement, particularly in the areas of IT, Media, Print and Packaging. Brian has served as Chair of the CDP Ireland Network, the global carbon reporting program, and is also a member of Steering Committee of the global Responsible Sourcing standard, Verego SRS. He has a degree in Economics from Trinity College, a Certificate in Sustainable Management from BSI Group and is currently studying the Circular Economy at TU Delft. Brian has particular expertise in the field of sustainability strategy, responsible sourcing, supply chain management, green procurement, and carbon accounting. Brian has presented on the topic of sustainability at a number of conferences including the Dublin Chamber Green Economy Forum, IBEC’s conference on Green Procurement and the National Supply Chain Conference. He has delivered a number of training courses and workshops on best practice GHG emissions measurement and reporting. 8 In conjunction with the Carbon Disclosure Project CDP, Brian has presented to the Department of Enterprise on the approach of global corporations to the topic of corporate sustainability.
