Course Overview
The infrastructure plan on charging, to expand EV’s will be presented by Zero Emission Vehicle Ireland (ZEVI). The National EV charging Network plan and the initiatives therein will help drive the delivery of charging infrastructure.
We will hear in this Webinar about the proposals ahead for the EV charging infrastructure. This will include the plans for the National En-Route EV Charging infrastructure for across the country where ZEVI will be working with Transport Infrastructure Ireland. We will also hear about the destination/neighborhood charging – where ZEVI are working with local authorities and others.
Course Objectives and Learning Outcomes
The electrification of transport represents a more sustainable and secure energy future for the transport sectors. With EV’s their numbers are predicted to increase over the coming years and energy market analysts suggest that mass market adoption of EVs for cars and vans is probable.
To fully utilise the potential in the electrification of transport in Ireland, and to expand the number of EV’s we need the right policies and we need to build the right infrastructure across en-route and destination charging to form the backbone for expansion for EV growth, which the course will outline for attendees.
